Fr. Isaac Poochakulam (2000 – 2010)

Fr. Isaac Poochakulam (2000 – 2010) – an embodiment of humility, provided a fresh flow of inspiration and motivation and ensured the blossoming of the community during this time. The laity, started attending Holy mass. Fathers at ashram were kind enough to provide facilities for mass. On July 3 rd 2005 Catechism classes resumed in an organised manner under the guidance of Fr. Isaac and the encouragement of Fr. Josekutty P.D., Fr.Jose Parakatt, brothers of CMI ashram, sisters of Sacred Heart Convent and Prajyothi Convent. Carol singing, introduced in 2006 was led by the 19 Catechism students and their family members. The First Holy Communion which marks a child or adult’s first reception of the Sacrament of the Eucharist and Confirmation were initiated to help Catechism students to move closer to Christ ,help them understand the responsibility of
being a Christian, and lead a life of faith.
