Welcome Message

Welcome to St. Mary’s Church, Kothanur. It’s a 250 plus members strong community, united in the spirit of the Lord. Our Church is based in Hennur-Bagalur road, which is on new BIAL airport road, and our community was formed to address the spiritual needs of the Malayalee Catholics here.

Coming under the Holy See at Rome, and the Dioceses of Mandya, we follow the Liturgical celebration of the Syro Malabar Rite here.

The Syro Malabar rite has developed in unison with the rich culture of the people of Kerala, and our traditions are a reflection of the people that we are. Through our celebrations, we grow as a community, constantly in touch with our origins, as we move forward in our quest to seek and know the Almighty. . There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don’t look even slightly believable.
